Welcome to Veterinary Dental Services

Kerri

... the ONLY facility in New England with Board Certified Veterinary Dentists

Since 1999 we have provided state-of-the-art dentistry and oral surgery for pets in New England. Our veterinary dentists are board certified in veterinary dentistry by the American Veterinary Dental College. Our technicians are certified by the American Society of Veterinary Dental Technicians. We pride ourselves on educating pet owners about dental care and disease prevention, and work closely with you, your pet, and your primary care veterinarian for the best outcome.

Our dental operatory is equipped similarly to a human dental office. We have digital dental radiography and computerized dental charting software for dogs and cats. Since most animal dental patients are treated under general anesthesia, we pay special attention to our anesthetic protocol, and customize anesthesia to the needs of your pet. Our veterinary dentists are capable general practitioners who have chosen to specialize in dentistry and oral surgery.

Whether you are a pet owner or a veterinarian, our Web site has information to educate you on the importance of veterinary dentistry.

Product of the Month

C.E.T. Tartar Control Toothpaste

"Designed for dogs and cats that rapidly form plaque and tartar on their teeth. This specially designed toothpaste contains an enhanced C.E.T. Dual-Enzyme formula and is more abrasive than regular toothpastes. Also acts quickly to neutralize mouth odors."-Virbac

This toothpaste has a specific ingredient that helps prevent tartar and plaque build-up called Lactoperoxidase. This enzyme is produced by the salivary glands, which helps make the toothpaste work and is also in the toothpaste. It is a natural antibacterial agent that helps prevent bacteria in the mouth.
